从2025年以来，我恢复每天一更的写作，也是因为我意识到了一个非常重要的问题，就是当代人生活在电子化信息化的时代，很多人已经缺乏了写作长篇文章，能够完整表达自己思想的能力 。
几天前我在知乎上看到一个有趣的问答说为什么中国人爱用微信，外国人喜欢使用邮件一类的沟通方式。虽然大家对微信沟通方式和电子邮件沟通方式哪个效率更高这个问题，有自己不同的判断，但是我发现现在很多人在省微信沟通的过程中，很少有人能够通过一长段文字有条有理的表达自己想传达的意思了。
最近一段时间我也正在忙着申请博士的事情，申请博士有一个非常重要的步骤，就是套磁。简单来讲就是通过电子邮件事先和自己意向的导师就是进行沟通，在这个过程中，我发现了写作一个电子邮件的重要性。
电子邮件和一般的微信聊天不同，电子邮件一般有明确且固定的格式。而且一般并不会只有一两句话，把一段想表达的意思分开成好几条消息发。电子邮件的目标是利用一整段文字把自己传达的意思，完整、详细且结构化的表达清楚。然而我发现写作电子邮件详略得当、层次清晰、表达具体都是电子邮件与传统微信聊天不同的地方。
然而电子邮件也有它的问题，比如说时效性不是很好。大部分接收到电子邮件的人看到了自己的新收到的邮件并不会及时回复，这样有一些紧急的事情，就不适于用电子邮件进行沟通。相比较来讲，微信可以把自己想表达一大串复杂内容拆成几个小段，和他人在互动过程中将自己想要表达的意思传达清楚。
学会清晰描述自己的思想，其实也是一个非常重要的能力。在我们学习和工作的过程中不准确表达自己的意思，不被他人误解，使得自己能够愉快高效地和他人一起协作，其实是我们人生中非常重要的一个能力。
这也是为什么我决定开始坚持每天更新一篇博客，其实重要不在于博客写了什么，而在于每天都会固定对自己的生活进行一些思考，写作本身也是对自己思想的整理的过程。
Since 2025, I have resumed writing daily updates, driven by the realization of a significant issue: in this era of digitalization and informatization, many people have lost the ability to write long articles that fully express their thoughts.
A few days ago, I came across an interesting Q&A on Zhihu discussing why Chinese people prefer using WeChat while foreigners favor email for communication. Although opinions vary on whether WeChat or email is more efficient, I noticed that during WeChat conversations, few people can coherently convey their intended message through a lengthy text.
Recently, I have been busy with my PhD application, a crucial step of which is reaching out to potential supervisors via email. This process highlighted the importance of crafting an email.
Unlike casual WeChat chats, emails typically follow a clear and fixed format and are not limited to one or two sentences, allowing the sender to express their thoughts in a structured and detailed manner within a single text. However, I found that writing an email requires a balance between detail and brevity, clarity, and specificity, distinguishing it from traditional WeChat messaging.
Yet, emails have their drawbacks, such as poor timeliness. Most recipients do not respond promptly to new emails, making them unsuitable for urgent matters. In contrast, WeChat allows breaking down complex ideas into smaller segments, facilitating clearer communication through interactive exchanges.
Mastering the skill of clearly articulating one’s thoughts is indeed a vital ability. In our studies and work, accurately expressing ourselves without being misunderstood, thereby enabling pleasant and efficient collaboration with others, is an essential life skill.
This is why I decided to commit to updating a blog daily. The content of the blog is less important than the act of regularly reflecting on my life and organizing my thoughts through writing.
